test1. Should I use lights on my bike?
Whether you’re riding during the day or night we recommend that running lights whenever you’re out riding. Studies have shown that 80% of accident do occur during the day and the use of a rear light makes you two times more visible to other road users. SHOULD I USE MY BIKE LIGHTS IN CONSTANT OR FLASHING MODE
Daytime - In daylight it’s recommended that your run both your front and rear lights in the brightest flashing mode which will gain the most amount of attention from other road users and provide you with optimal road safety.
Nighttime – Running your front light on a steady mode is recommended as it provides you with clear visibility of what is a head and at the same time isn’t distracting to other road users. From the rear light, a medium speed flashing mode will allow other road users to see but not run the risk of disorientating other road users. 2. How do I choose the right chain lube?
Choosing the right lube is just as important as lubricating your chain. The are a number of different types of lube that can be broken down into two categories Wet and Dry. Wet lube is best used in wet environments, when it is raining, muddy, or if there is any chance your drivetrain might be getting wet. It is thicker, stickier, and provides more protection than dry lube perfect for those winter mountain bike rides. Dry lube is best for dry conditions and is intended for summer use and can be used on road, mountain or ebikes. The benefits include that is dries on your chain, which means it is less prone to attracting dirt and easier to clean off your chain but prone to washing off your chain in the wet. To lock your bike securely, use a high-quality lock and lock the frame and both wheels to a secure object, such as a bike rack or pole.
